We all have our favorites style of cloth diapers. Whether it is a pocket, all-in-one, all-in-two, hybrid or flats/prefolds with a cover.
Rock-A-Bums gives you the option to change your mind! The versatility of this diaper allows you to use it in whatever way you want!

When you purchase a Rock-A-Bums 5-in-1 you'll get the 'Bomb Shell' cover as well as two re-usable inserts. The diaper cover is one size with a snap-down rise and lined with grey fleece. Being that this diaper cover has cross-over snaps, it can get pretty small in the waist.
Each insert is three layers of microfiber topped with a layer of grey fleece. There is a snap on each insert as well as the inside of the back of the diaper, allowing you to snap in the insert.
You can use the diaper cover with one insert or for overnights or heavy wetters you may wish to use them both at the same time.
The Versatility:
1. Bomb Shell- Put over the top of a disposable to prevent blow outs, or just to look cute!
2. Pocket Diaper- Stuff the pocket opening with insert.
3. All-In-One- Snap in the insert after stuffing pocket, no need to unstuff the soiled diaper. Just wash as usual and hang dry.
4. All-In-Two- Simply snap the insert to the back of the diaper shell. No
stuffing. When soiled, remove soaker and snap in the clean one. Or use flats, prefolds, or fitteds under the shell!
5. Hybrid- Use any disposable cloth diaper liner in your diaper shell.
6. *Bonus* Swim Diaper- Shell can be used alone (without inserts) as a swim diaper.
My favorite way to use this diaper is as an all-in-two. Since it comes with two fleece topped inserts it is like getting two diapers for the price of one! I like that the shell is lined with fleece so Bug's skin isn't rubbing against the laminate.
This diaper fits Bug really well. The elastic is soft, yet tight. Hip snaps to help prevent wing droop.
I really like this diaper and it has a great price point!
I do have one disappointment with this diaper. If you look at the image from their site:
It looks as though there is a tummy panel (flap) of PUL on the inside of the diaper. Well, there is no PUL on the inside. It is just straight fleece. If there was a tummy panel this would be a great diaper for overnights. But with my little man being a tummy sleeper, we no longer dare putting him in a diaper overnight that does not have extra leak protection on his tummy.
Buy It:
Rock-A-Bums 5-in-1 is sold on their
site for $16.95!
For $45.95 you can get a
three pack of shells with 6 inserts. That is enough to cloth diaper an older infant for a full day! Making Rock-A-Bums a very economical cloth diapering system.
Between the new features of the 2.0 (two pocket openings, new exclusive lining and a tummy panel) and the features of the 1.0, what do you like the best? What color would you choose if you win?
