Baby Beduga Cloth Diaper Review {Giveaway}

Disclosure: I received the product below to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and completely honest. I was not compensated in any other way.

Crystal is a WAHM who started cloth diapering with her second child. She wanted to lower her budget for disposable diapers, reduce waste, and avoid chemicals on her baby's skin. She then decided to get into the cloth diaper industry. She designed a diaper that she uses on her little one. This is how Baby Beduga came to be. Her business is run so that she has low overhead and can supply diapers at a lower cost than many others on the market, without hindering quality.

Crystal sent me the Happy Day Chevron Diaper. I love multiple/bright colored prints! I've been showing this diaper off and everyone loves the print! It is a great colorful, neutral print!

Characteristics of Baby Beduga pocket diapers:

  • Each diaper comes with a three layer microfiber insert
  • Diaper is a PUL (waterproof) outer, with micro-fleece inner to wick moisture away from baby's skin
  • One size fits most (7-36 lbs)
  • Adjustable rise settings
  • Adjustable waist/hip settings
  • High quality, low cost
  • Super cute prints, solids also available

There are three rise settings. Snap at the bottom for small, the top snap is medium and unsnapped is large. Between that and the two rows of snaps for the waist and hip adjustment, you can get a good fit for babies of many sizes.

The elastic is soft, yet remains taught. The pocket opening is at the top of the back of the diaper, with elastic in both the PUL and the fleece lining to ensure the insert stays inside the diaper and will not be exposed to baby's skin.

Bug is about 25 lbs and on the largest rise setting. He still has plenty of room to grow into the waist. I believe this diaper will easily fit to 36 lbs+.

This kid is a serious mover! I have a really hard time getting him to stay still. Despite that, we haven't had any leak issues with this diaper. I will say though that I haven't tried it for sleep times. He is a tummy sleeper, usually with his bum in the air. This diaper does not have a tummy panel, while I am confident nap times would not be an issue, I stick to diapers with a tummy panel for overnights.

When you support Baby Beduga you are also supporting a greater cause. Baby Beduga reaches out to the community by providing cloth diapers to orphanages. When the orphanages have cloth diapers they can reduce their operating costs and migrate the money used on diapers to help the children in other ways.
